Suomen Geronomiliitto ry ("The Association of Elderly Care Professionals in Finland") was founded 6th of February 2012. The purpose of the association is to improve the general knowledge of Elderly Care Professionals (Bachelor of Social Services and Health Care) professional skills and education and conditions to function in working life in co-operation with different professions. The association wants to improve and protect older peoples' benefits, rights, equal standing in society, complete well-being, health and safety and to prevent exclusion and alienation.
